We ship via United or Delta Airlines from Ft. Myer International Airport (RSW) to the closest major airport nearest to you. Before shipping your dog/puppy will be scheduled for a health certificate for being able to be shipped and a health certificate for the sale of the puppy by one of our local veterinarians. We will also select the proper size kennel for him/her to shipped.
Shipping cost is based on weight and size of the kennel rather than distance. This basically means that it is the same amount of money to ship a dog from RSW to Atlanta, GA as it would be to ship from RSW to California. The cost for shipping is Approximately $450 for puppies and about $850 for adults. Again, this is based on size/weight so prices can vary. This price includes your Health Certificate, Kennel and Transportation expense to the RSW airport. United airlines have special climate-controlled cargo cabins that allows up to be able to ship just about any time of the year. There are, however certain city’s that these climate-controlled planes do not fly. If that is the case, we would either must ship in the winter months or again to the closest major airport. This is very rarely a problem but same times in the hot summer months. Most airlines will not ship pets when the temperature is about 80 or below 40 at the time of takeoff, layover, landing. understand the special requirements of shipping animals, and we adhere to United & Delta airlines, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations, as well as International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations. And we strictly follow the standards of USDA and IATA regulations regarding the size and type of kennels utilized. The kennel must be sturdy, properly ventilated, and, most importantly, must be large enough for the animal to freely sit and stand with its head erect, turn around, and lie down in a normal posture. To prevent accidental injury, no part of the animal's body can protrude through any openings in the kennel. For this reason, kennels made exclusively from wire are not accepted.
